Law, Economics and Society (LES) has been Launched

The 2025 new journal Law, Economics and Society (LES) has been launched. It will be semi-annual and published in June and December 2025. The ISSN is currently being applied for, and there is a limited-time discount on Article Processing Charges (APC). Please consult the editor by email at les@ideasspread.org.

Law, Economics and Society (LES) is an interdisciplinary field of research that explores the interactions between legal systems, economic theories, and societal structures. It encompasses a variety of research directions that investigate how law influences economic behavior, how economic forces shape legal institutions, and how these dynamics impact society at large. The journal is published in both print and online versions. The online version is free access and download.

Law, Economics and Society (LES) has used the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) system. Each article will be assigned a DOI number and add persistent link for retrieval. The DOI will be available after our journal get ISSN, the time maybe in March to June 2025. 

What is DOI?

The Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System is for identifying content objects in the digital environment. DOI® names are assigned to any entity for use on digital networks. They are used to provide current information, including where they (or information about them) can be found on the Internet. Information about a digital object may change over time, including where to find it, but its DOI name will not change.

Submission Preparation

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

- Please read the Author Guide before you submit a manuscript.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guide.
- Add DOIs and persistent links to those references that have DOIs, please see the Author Guide.
- If the paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Processing Charge: 0.00 USD/article.
- Copyrights for articles published in this journal are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author's responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.
